I’ve always had a soft spot for Oroton. And I’m especially loving their new Autumn campaign. I love the fact that not only did they produce beautiful photography featuring two beautiful Australian models – Samantha Harris and Elyse Taylor – but they also produced an amazing mini film. Watch it here – www.oroton.com. Here are some behind-the-scene shots … You can get your hands on Oroton at the MacArthur Central store, click here for details.
Yep it’s Friday the 13th. Hmmm are you worried? I’m not. It’s just another great day, because it’s Friday! All we should be worrying about today is what fantastic outfit we are going to wear to see in the weekend … maybe this Friend of Mine dress from Princess Polly on Adelaide Street … what do you think?

Only every once in a while does a jewellery label come along that makes you sit up and notice. Angle Diamond Dot is just that. An explosion of raw semi-precious stones, sterling silver and gold micron plated finishes collide to create these unique pieces. With everything from huge turquoise earrings and silver peace sign rings, to chunky gold necklaces and statement stone rings, Brisbane designer Courtney Harris has created something for every woman. I have my eye on this amazing chain multi ring – one for the Christmas wish list I think!
Angle Diamond Dot is available at A.P Design House in Paddington and The Dawn in Fortitude Valley, as well as online at www.anglediamonddot.com
Lover of unique fashion from far off lands? Well from this Thursday you can get your hands on an array of limited edition jewellery, bags and accessories sourced from around the globe thanks to Molten Store’s new in-house label Molten Relic. Hand-selected by owner Jessy Cameron, it’s a treasure chest of wares perfect for summer. Think sterling silver, quartz crystal and cowrie shell embellishment. And the collection is surprisingly easy on the wallet, with an average price point of just$69. I already have my eye on the ‘Mister Ray’ choker necklace and ‘Delicate Hour’ ear cuff! Oh and in case you haven’t heard of Molten Store – it launched just four months ago and is already one of the premier online destinations in Australia for functional and beautiful pieces that you can’t easily find elsewhere, whether it be a necklace, fragrance or journal.
Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet of late. Life has just been a bit busy. No that’s a lie. I think I’ve just been uninspired. But I’m back and feeling more inspired than ever! Here’s some of the things that have caught my eye … and you may notice that there is some actual colour going on, not something I usually like … but it’s hard not to love the new season shades.
