And the winner is …
We were very excited last Friday to announce the winner of the Follow the Fashion designer competition – Bianca Daly from blanc + delta.
Bianca will receive a store with six months free rent in Queen Street Mall’s Broadway on The Mall from 1 December 2009 – a budding designer’s dream prize.
blanc + delta’s signature style is delicate silk garments with intricate detailing and natural blends, contrasted with heavy metal finishes. The Spring/ Summer 09/10 “Into the twilight” collection is set amidst a mid-summers dream. A soft romantic colour palette is featured in silver-moon, apricot and peach representing twilight and black for Midnight.

im sad to see that beserk did not win, i love fluers creations and she is so talented, i have quite a few of her peices and they r wicked quality.

congratulations on winning. Your clothes do look very high in quality. I am disappointed though that queen st mall has chosen a fashion style basically identical to most of the other stores there. Was hoping bezerk would have won as they are truly unique and represent a style of fashion as yet not seen on queen st mall. They also have a massive fan base so sales would have been terrific.

Congratulations to B+D. I am a middle aged woman…and am fortunate enough to have had a dress designed by Bianca of B+D. The dress was for my daughter’s wedding and was absolutely adored by all. I have also seen a frock designed and made for a young lady for her school formal…..it was one of the most amazing, elegant garments I have ever seen – from the design to the absolutely equisite fabric…..what a dream….

Very nice, however, would have liked to see something a bit different. It would have been good to see something different eg Ma-at with his great shoes. All my male friends loved his styles.
