Yes it might be hard to believe, but for once you shouldn’t feel guilty for indulging your love of fashion and shopping … as you can actually really help someone. Here are some ways that you can shop whilst supporting the Premiers Flood Relief Appeal (we’ll keep updating the list as more come through). You’ll be helping those less fortunate rebuild their lives after the devasting Queensland floods PLUS you’ll be helping Brisbane’s economy and its many retail business owners and their employees.

Thanks for writing about this! I work for a company called Uptown Liz, which was created in memory of the founder’s 28 year old sister, Liz, who died from breast cancer. Uptown Liz (www.uptownliz.com) promotes products from companies whose proceeds go to different charitable organizations. You can shop on this one-of-a-kind website by charitable cause or product category, knowing that every time you make a purchase you are making a difference. There are many great art, clothing, jewelry, house wares, beauty and eco-friendly products (just to name a few) that benefit charities all over the world.
