Posted in Designers by brisbane on April 19, 2010

Up-and-coming Brisbane fashion designer Alexandra Ovijach invited us along to the  ‘In Soft Focus’ Spring/Summer 2010 shoot for her label – akko.  We were lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes look of the range that uses soft fabrics combined with pastels and buttery nude hues, resulting in effortless chic pieces. Alexandra has played with shapes, contrasting textured fabrics and draping to give light and dimension to each piece. From super sharp blazers with shoulder detailing, to romantic ruffled dresses, the collection is contemporary dressing with timeless appeal.

You can get your hands on Akko’s current range at the South Bank Young Designer Markets. Stay tuned for details on when and where you can purchase the ‘In Soft Focus’ collection.

A little sexy, a little fun, always fashionable. White Sands is quintessentially glamorous, always with an eye to fashion, and a nod to the carefree style that is so Australian.
