MBFF Key Looks

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane brought the fashion to the people. And what a week of fashion it was. From old favourites to innovative new-comers, here’s our pick of the best key looks for spring/summer, and most importantly, they can all be found in the city and Queen Street Mall.

Bold Pants

MBFF showcases ‘Follow the Fashion’ Entrants

Follow the Fashion was a great way for local fashion designers to showcase their designs, and many of them took the next step and featured their pieces in MBFF last week. Our tip: get in fast to get your hands on your fave pieces from these amazing designers before they hit the big-time and sell out!

Designer Finalist Profile: White Sands

A little sexy, a little fun, always fashionable. White Sands is quintessentially glamorous, always with an eye to fashion, and a nod to the carefree style that is so Australian. An anthology of unique and fashion forward styles. From tiny brazilian cut bikinis and beautifully shaped maillots in exclusive prints. White Sands is tipped to be one of the most glamorous, fashion forward collections to come out of Australia yet.

The Final Five

The Follow the Fashion ‘Final Five’ have been announced! AKKO, Blanc + Delta, Beserk Clothing, Ma’at and White Sands. Check them out at http://www.followthefashion.com.au or in today’s City News (Brisbane).

The ‘Final Five’ will be judged by a panel of experts and then the winner will be announced at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane – Fashion Snap Parade at the Queen Street Mall Stage on Friday 28 Aug. Head to the parade to be one of the first to find out who the winner is.
